How this role contributesto the Y’s mission:
As a Y Housekeeping Associate you will perform regular janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness of Y wellness center. As a Y Housekeeping Associate you’ll contribute to the Y and to the larger community we serve by enhancing the Y member experience, making the Y an enjoyable and meaningful part of their lives.
This work is right for you if you have:
- An enthusiastic love for people of all ages, patience, good judgment and a good spirit
- The ability to relate to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
- The ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner, including ability to read labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions
- The ability to stay alert to potential safety and security problems
- The ability to carry out instructions independently
- Previous related experience (preferred)
