h2Responsibilities/h2
ul
liRoom patients, measure and record vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration./li
liComplete patient interview and history./li
liPrepare patients for examinations, tests and treatments and explain procedures. Assists with procedures as ordered by physician./li
liMay assist in examinations, carry out treatments and special tests./li
liSet up equipment and prepare medical treatment rooms for patients./li
liCollect samples such as blood, urine and sputum from patients, and perform routine laboratory tests on samples./li
liManage and organize the medical office's inbox, ensuring timely and accurate communication with patients, healthcare providers and other stakeholders./li
liOversee the reception of incoming patient information and gather necessary data for healthcare providers./li

h2Qualifications/h2
pHigh School Diploma or equivalent along with at least one of the following:/p
p• A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program OR• Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience OR• Military Medic training OR• EMT-P (Paramedic) training OR• Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education/p
