If so, Learn It Systems is looking for a part time Licensed School Counselor to work in our K-8 classrooms./p pThis is a great opportunity to join a growing, interdisciplinary team of professionals focused on creating exceptional learning experiences for children in need./p h2Responsibilities/h2 p /p pIn this position, you would be a part of an educational team consisting of a supervisor and educators. This team works with school districts to deliver the highest-quality education to students in a small group learning environment. As an Academic School Counselor you will work on a one-on-one basis or in small groups providing classroom guidance and promoting student engagement and performance./p pAcademic School Counselors will be a part of a team that works with students who qualify for Title I assistance. Responsibilities include consulting and developing rapport with parents, classroom teachers, school principal and other school personnel on a regular basis. Working to keep an open line of communication available at all times and provide local resources to the school staff and parents as needed./p p /p pstrongPAY: $35 - $40/hr/strong/p p /p p /p h2Qualifications/h2 pIN PERSON/p ul liSchool counseling licensure required or Social Worker/li liA minimum of 5 years’ experience preferred/li liExperience working with Title I students a plus/li liMust be able to lift 30 pounds/li liWork location is in a school building where employee will need to be able to go up and down stairs/li liFrequent standing and ability to raise arms above the head/li liHand dexterity for typing and entering data into a computer/li /ul pLearn It Systems is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the United States./p
