pSubject to the medical protocols established by Association and the Chief Medical Officer of Concentra and in cooperation with other physicians assigned to a clinic or “Center”, if any, Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner shall provide primary medical direction and coordination of professional medical care within the occupational health program./p

pstrongThis is a PRN role, M-F shifts, 8-5. Must cover two clinics: Modesto and Modesto / Ceres. /strong/p
h2Responsibilities/h2
ul
liExamines patient, compiles patient medical data and results of examination./li
liAdministers or orders diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests./li
liCompiles patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination./li
liInterprets diagnostic test results for deviations from normal./li
liPerforms therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection./li
liInstructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance./li
liDevelops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care./li
liAssists in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care./li
liAssists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs./li
liProvides excellent customer service to all patients, clients and peers while incorporating Orange Book values./li
liDedicated to exceeding customer and patient expectations as measured by NPER/NPS/TATs./li
liEnsures accuracy when completing and executing tasks and performing quality assurance checks./li
liEnsures accurate, concise, timely and complete documentation of results and paperwork./li
liProvides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume./li
liAbility to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment./li

liBachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university/li
liLicensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction/li
liGraduate of an accredited PA or NP program of an accredited university/li
liBoard Certification/li
liOccupational Medicine experience preferred, but we are willing to train otherwise qualified candidates in this area of medicine/li
liFMCSA NRCME is required prior to start date - we provide this CME for colleagues not already certified/li
liDEA required prior to start date/li

li Customarily has at least one year of demonstrated experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or an emergency setting/li

pThis position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $75.00 to $85.00 hourly depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
