About the Position
AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in Kerrville, Texas, 78028!
Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans as directed by the supervising OT.
Provide therapeutic activities to improve patients’ daily living skills, mobility, strength, and coordination.
Monitor patient progress and report updates or concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and facility guidelines.
Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment.

Requirements
Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) license.
Previous experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
