Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (LDRP) position at a critical access hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Work setting is a critical access hospital with 22 total staff beds
- Assignment is in the Labor & Delivery (LDRP) unit
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 6:1 depending on acuity
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekends required, evenly distributed among RNs
- Floating between units and facilities within the state is required per unit needs
- No on-call required
- Charting is done in Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs of any color accepted; OR scrubs are provided
Requirements
- Active MT RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery (LDRP) RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers with 2+ years of experience are welcome to apply
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Travelers who refuse to float between facilities within the state may be subject to assignment termination
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; all RTO requests must be disclosed at time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
- No parking fee at this facility
