Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel assignment requiring a minimum of 18 months of permanent OR experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room setting
- Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, plastics, vascular, and GYN
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Saturday on a variable basis
- 12-week contract
Requirements
- Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent (non-travel) OR experience required prior to any travel assignments
- One recent professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or charge RN in the OR specialty required for consideration
- Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Additional Information
- Holiday coverage required — traveler must work at least every other holiday
- ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both are required
- Travelers who have worked at any Cleveland Clinic location for 18 consecutive months must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
