Charlin Health Services is looking for a full-time Office Manager to join our team in Plano, TX. The Office Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including overseeing administrative staff, managing office supplies, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. The Office Manager will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the Director of Nursing and Administrator and other staff members.
Description
Job Functions :
- Provide administrative support to the home health agency, which may include managing schedules, coordinating meetings, handling phone calls and emails, and maintaining office supplies.
- Oversee the intake process for new patients, including verifying insurance coverage, collecting necessary information, and scheduling appointments.
Ensure accurate and timely scheduling of home health services for patients.
- Maintain and organize patient records, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant regulations. This includes managing electronic health records (EHR) systems and maintaining confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborate with billing and coding staff to ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims. Verify insurance coverage, process payments, and address any billing or insurance-related inquiries or issues.
- Act as a liaison between caregivers, nurses, therapists, and other staff members to facilitate effective communication and coordination of patient care.
This may involve scheduling and assigning caregivers, ensuring adequate staffing levels, and addressing any staffing-related concerns.
Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable regulations, such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) and Medicare guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to ensure high standards of care and documentation.
- Communicate with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to address inquiries, provide updates on patient care, and ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Support staff training and development activities, including orientation for new hires, training on office procedures, and ongoing education on industry changes and updates.

- Experience with customer service and patient relations
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (preferred)
- Home Health and Hospice experience (preferred)
