div pstrongSummary/strong/p pSeeking a Leasing Agent who is responsible for assisting the property manager in maintaining all aspects of property operations, but with a concentration on the leasing, marketing, resident relations, and functions of the community. The Leasing Agent strives for 100% occupancy through retention of existing residents, leasing current availability and pre-leasing of future availability. This position will be split between 2 properties at 304 Tidwell Road, Houston, TX 77022 amp; 1430 Upland Drive, Houston, TX 77043./p pstrongEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following./strong Other duties may be assigned./p ul liInterviews prospective tenants and records information to ascertain needs and qualifications./li liCompletes lease form or agreement and collects rental deposit./li liHandles electronic and manual bookkeeping functions, or credits renter account for receipts and debits account for disbursements such as upkeep and maintenance costs for assigned property./li liRequests issuance of check for monies due residents./li liPrepares vacancy, occupancy, traffic, reports and turnover schedules, etc. for internal use and external agency compliance./li liCoordinates moving, inspections, dealing with tenant issues and related items./li liInspects condition of premises periodically and arranges for necessary maintenance./li liAssists with eviction of tenants in compliance with court order and directions from supervisor./li liResponds to emergency calls and situations as required./li liCommunicates and interacts with residents individually or in groups as required./li liCompiles listings of available rental property./li /ul pstrongQualifications/strong/p ul liExperience in working with LIHTC/Tax Credit/HUD/Section 8 regulations/forms/li liExcellent customer service skills/li liYardi or comparable property management software knowledge preferred/li liBilingual - Spanish preferred/li /ul pstrongWage/strong/p p$18.00-$19.00 per hour DOE/p p /p /div Equal Opportunity Employer, including disabled and veterans.
