Our values are simple: integrity, quality, safety, professionalism, commitment./p pstrongWhat we offer:/strong/p ul listrongHealth, Life, Dental and Vision Insurance/strong/li listrongEmployee Assistant Program/strong/li listrongFlex Spending (FSA) (Cafeteria Plan) and HSA /strong/li listrong401(k) Plan – Matching up to 3%/strong/li listrongEmployee Stock Purchase Plan/strong/li listrongProfit Sharing Plan/strong/li listrongPaid Time Off (PTO), Parental Leave, Paid Pregnancy Medical Leave/strong/li listrongPaid Holidays /strong/li listrongTuition Reimbursement/strong/li listrongAnnual Discretionary Bonus/strong/li listrongEmployer Paid Life Insurance/strong/li listrongGym membership reimbursement/strong/li /ul pstrongFire Protection Project Manager and Designer/strong/p pThis individual will design, coordinate, and project manage the fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.  He or she will design and create the finished representation for the sprinkler systems using drawing and drafting skills and tools.  The drawings produced will be used as a guide by every other link in the chain of construction, both on-site and in the office.  This person will have responsibility for the initial planning of a project including scheduling of time, creating material stock listing, analyzing changes, and solving problems.  /p pThis position has a salary range of $30.00-$45.00 per hour depending on experience. /p pstrongJob Responsibilities/strong/p ul liReview construction contract documents and coordinate with sub-contractors and General Contractor/owner to gather the required information to design the project’s sprinkler system/li liThrough use of analytical thinking and problem solving, determine construction feasibility and systems possibilities/li liCreate detailed drawings through extensive use of AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD type programs/li liCreate stock list for all material required throughout the project/li liPerform hydraulic calculations/li liDevelop initial schedules for preliminary project work/li liMaintain design historical records and historical records for all functions for future use/li liDevelop positive and ongoing relationships with customers to ensure company is meeting customers’ expectations/li liCoordinate with other departments within office to ensure proper handover of job information/li liConduct long range project planning and scheduling/li liMonitor and manage projects to comply with safety, quality, productivity, and profitability requirements/li liDirectly manage field labor force of assigned project to assure maximum productivity/li liTrack employee hours and crew mix rates for each project/li liEnsure proper staffing is in place on each project/li liIdentify changes in projects that impact cost, schedule, or labor requirements/li liMake sure change orders/change estimates are completed in timely manner/li liMonitor project billings for accuracy and maintenance of a positive cash flow/li liContinually monitor progress of projects; review reports to ensure compliance with schedule and budgetary guidelines/li liAssist/lead during field check stage of the project/li liForecast future manpower requirements/li liOversee work of subcontractors/li liEnsure work complies with codes and permits/li liAdminister construction contracts, approve work quality and payment requests/li liReport to owner and general contractor about progress and any necessary modifications required/li liRecommend improvements in project management procedures and overall company business practices /li /ul pstrongJob Qualifications/strong/p ul liConstruction Management degree or applicable other degree from a technical school or college/li liNICET certification required.
