This position works closely with nursing team members to provide excellent dining experiences for residents in Skilled Nursing and Personal Care.Essential DutiesEnsure residents receive meals according to ordered dietsDeliver hot foods, cold foods, and beverages to designated service areasAssist cooks with portioning and preparing cold food itemsStock service kitchens with food, supplements, and suppliesWork collaboratively with nursing team members during meal serviceMaintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in all work areasCheck, record, and report refrigerator and freezer temperaturesAssist with dishwashing, including collecting, washing, unloading, and storing dishesAssist with receiving and inventory as neededPerform other duties as assigned to meet facility needsQualificationsBasic knowledge of safe and sanitary food and equipment handling practicesAbility to read, write, and follow oral and written instructionsProfessional appearance and adherence to hygiene and dress standardsCustomer-focused, dependable, and detail-orientedCommitment to supporting the mission and values of Fairmount Homes
