The Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Medical Director - View Hospital provides clinical and operational leadership for inpatient psychiatry services at View Hospital, including program development, direct patient care, quality oversight, interdisciplinary coordination, and support of the academic mission of UCR School of Medicine.
The successful candidate must possess an M.D. or equivalent degree, be board certified and/or eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment.
Applicants must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR affiliated hospitals. The full salary range for the Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist positions are: -Associate Physician Diplomate (board certified + 1 year exp): $163,400 - $400,300; expected pay scale for this position is up to $330,000 annually. -Associate Physician (board eligible + 1 year exp): $142,100 - $348,100; expected pay scale for this position is up to $315,000 annually. -Assistant Physician (board eligible): $123,500 - $302,600; expected pay scale for this position is up to $290,000 annually.
These annual rates are at 100% FTE appointment. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Additionally a concurrent administrative appointment will be proposed.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
