We have an exciting opportunity for a Machinist to join our Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) Group located in Tupelo, MS. Under general supervision with detailed instructions, this position is responsible for running multi axis CNC machines to produce production parts or tooling. With minimum oversight, this position will be asked to set up simple parts on 2-4 axis CNC machines. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Run production to print and budget on multi axis CNC machines. + Set up and produce 1st piece on semi complex parts with 2-4 axis CNC machines. + Use standard measuring devises, such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, height gages, and ect. to ensure the quality of the parts. + Clean machine and work area. + Deburr parts + Perform gathering/building cutting tools, fixtures, and raw material. + After complete instructions, operates CNC or manual machines and inspect parts utilizing blue print dimensions and prescribed gages. + Monitor and verifies quality in accordance with GA procedures. + Prepares and saw cuts raw material. + May layout, fabricate, and assemble components. + Responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. + Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
