Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring at least one year of experience, AHA-issued BLS and PALS certifications, and Level 1 trauma experience.
Details
- Full-time, 13-week contract in a hospital Pediatric ICU setting
- Night shift schedule, working 3 days per week at 12 hours per day (36 hours/week)
- Level 1 trauma experience required for this unit
- CVICU and NICU experience preferred
Requirements
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
- Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — AHA-issued certifications only
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Level 1 experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, documenting responses to nursing interventions, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, and managing IV infusions and blood products
- Collaborates with physicians during patient exams and minor diagnostic procedures, and coordinates with family members on care plans and discharge planning
- Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may complete a maximum of one extension (totaling 26 weeks) before requiring a 6-month separation period prior to re-engagement
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon booking — this facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines and does not negotiate start dates
