General Mechanic in East Point, GA 

Starting Pay: $ 29.20- $32.00 per hour

Full-Time Benefits! Sign-On Bonus!

Shift: Mon- Fri, 5:30 AM -3:30 PM. Occasional Saturdays required.

We’re seeking a skilled General Mechanic to support daily plant operations. This role is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with a trades background or recent technical school graduates. Positive, eager to learn, and ready to grow in their career.  

Key Responsibilities May Include  

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.  

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.  

• Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. 

• Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.  

• Assist with fabrication, welding, motors, conveyors, and basic PLC troubleshooting.  

• Maintain safe work practices and follow all plant safety procedures. 

• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

• Must be at least 18 years of age. 

• Mechanical aptitude with strong troubleshooting skills. 

• Experience or training in mechanical, electrical, welding, fabrication, or related maintenance trades is a plus. 

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and equipment drawings 

• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast‑paced industrial/manufacturing environment. 

• Commitment to safety, quality, and following established procedures. 

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work effectively as part of a team. 

• Capable of frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling 

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
