Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment in Durango, CO. The Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
• Accurately measure, label, and package medications
• Maintain patient records and process prescription orders
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and checking expiration dates
• Handle insurance claims and billing processes
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations

Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license/registration in Colorado (if required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent pharmacy technician experience
• Certification (CPhT) preferred
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication handling
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
