Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position at a Level IV Trauma facility in Corsicana, TX, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in a 14-bed Emergency Department at a hospital in Corsicana, TX
- Patient ratio of 1:5
- EMR: MEDHOST-EDIS
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- No call requirements
- No block scheduling
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- Minimum 2+ years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Level IV Trauma experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Valid driver's license required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Any solid color scrubs are acceptable
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- Parking is available in front of the hospital
