QC Lab Tech I

Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a global leader in the fragrance and flavors industry, is seeking to hire a Quality Control Lab Technician to join their team in Lebanon, Ohio.

Pay: $27/hr

Shift:12:00pm-12:30am on a 2-2-3 rotation, however you will train 8:00am-4:40pm, Monday - Friday for the first 30 days.

Responsibilities:

• Perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples from production and R&D
• Be dependable, ability to multi-task, productive and high-quality workmanship
• Learn and follow established protocols
• Maintain accurate records of results
• Perform regular lab verifications and calibrations
• Interact with Production personnel to ensure successful products
• Assist in Environmental testing
• GC-GC/MS experience - sample preparation and data analysis
• Operate lab equipment: Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Sensory, Data Analysis, Other lab equipment and testing as needed
• Responsible for adding waste to a satellite accumulation container, labeling, sampling, analyzing, and transporting hazardous waste.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Constant standing; frequent walking
• Good verbal and written communication skills
