Job Description:Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, treat patients in order to remediate or prevent medical problems. Patients seen have varied limitations and problems and the physical therapy assistants use their skills in therapeutic practice to assist patients to reach their maximum functional potential. Age specific competency is assessed for all patient age ranges.
Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting. The work shift will contain the word ‘exempt’ on it.Scheduled Weekly Hours:30
Certifications/Licensures:
PTA Physical Therapist Assistant - California Physical Therapy Board Required or
CA. eligible PTA approval to practice Required
BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Required
Work shift : 07:00 - 17:30
Days worked per week: Thursday / Friday / Saturday
Hours worked per day: 10

Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.
