Lead Security Officer

Location: Devens, MA 
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 2300—0700

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Lead Security Officer to help oversee nightly security operations at our client site. In this role, you will support the site supervisor, help guide security staff on shift and ensure the highest level of service and professionalism.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leadership, takes initiative, and wants to grow within the security field.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for officers during assigned shifts 
• Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and nightly operations 
• Provide guidance and support to security officers on post 
• Ensure all site policies, procedures, and post orders are followed 
• Conduct patrols and maintain a visible security presence 
• Complete incident reports and daily activity reports 
• Communicate important updates to site leadership 
• Assist with training and onboarding of new officers 

 

Qualifications

• Previous security experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus 
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations 
• Basic computer and report writing skills
