Roles & Responsibilities- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET imaging studies using GE Discovery and GE PET equipment
- Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures and ensure patient safety
- Operate and troubleshoot PACS and EMR systems (Epic and McKesson) for accurate image storage and charting
- Follow strict radiation safety practices, maintain and use radiation badge provided by client
- Document procedures and patient interactions clearly and timely in Epic
- Float to XR/CT (or other modalities) when appropriately licensed and requested by department
- Work collaboratively with technologists, radiologists, and clinical teams to deliver excellent patient outcomes
- Adhere to departmental policies (including fingernail/artificial nail policy) and facility radius/eligibility rules
- Required: BLS certification
- Required: ARRT (NM) or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)
- Driver's license required at time of submission (used to confirm 50-mile radius eligibility)
- Minimum: 2 years of Nuclear Medicine technologist experience (as listed)
- Preferred (nice-to-have): ARRT RT(R), ARRT CT, ARRT MR
- Able to complete orientation (approximately 12 hours) and adapt to department processes
- Must NOT be currently employed (FT/PT/PRN) with facilities associated with CommonSpirit (including CHI or Dignity)
- Hands-on experience with GE Discovery 630 Dual Head and GE PET equipment
- Strong radiation safety practices and familiarity with radiation badge use
- Proficient with Epic for charting and McKesson PACS for image management
- Skilled in patient positioning, imaging protocols, and PET/NM study workflows
- Ability to follow department templates and supervisor-driven schedules
- Flexible, positive attitude and willingness to learn and cross-train when licensed
