Mow Crew Member

Griffin Lawn Care & Landscape is seeking a dependable, motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our mowing and trimming crew.

This role primarily operates a commercial string trimmer and is responsible for detailed property finishing work including edging, trimming, and blowing. You will be part of a professional team servicing residential and commercial properties on scheduled routes. Will train to mow.

We are not a “show up when you feel like it” company. We operate with structure, accountability, and pride in our work.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate commercial string trimmers daily (8–10 hours during peak season)
• Perform detailed trimming around structures, fences, trees, beds, and hardscapes
• Edge sidewalks and curbs to company quality standards
• Blow off hard surfaces and complete final property clean-up
• Assist with mowing operations when needed
• Follow assigned route schedules efficiently
• Maintain clean equipment and perform daily equipment checks
• Use company apps for clock-in, job completion, and photo documentation
• Communicate professionally with crew leader and team

• Reliable transportation to shop each morning
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and physical conditions
• Able to lift 50+ lbs
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Punctual and consistent attendance
• Willingness to take direction and grow within the company

Experience is preferred but not required. We train motivated individuals.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday (some seasonal Saturday work)
