**Operations Supervisor – Material Recovery Facility (MRF)** Location: Albuquerque, NM Reports To: Plant Manager Waste Connections is seeking an Operations Supervisor for our BARCO Albuquerque Materials Recovery Facility. Responsibilities include maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable production by overseeing personnel, equipment, and material flow. **Key Responsibilities** • Supervise hourly employees across assigned shifts • Monitor equipment performance, material flow, and production quality • Enforce safety standards and respond to incidents • Manage staffing levels, break schedules, and rotation plans • Support continuous improvement initiatives and minimize downtime • Communicate shift performance and key issues to management **Qualifications** • High School Diploma or equivalent required • 2+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, recycling, or similar fields • Previous supervisory or leadership experience • Strong safety awareness and decision‑making ability • Ability to work in a fast‑paced industrial environment • Preferred: MRF or recycling facility experience; bilingual English/Spanish • Preferred: 2+ years operating light to heavy equipment **Why This Role Matters** This position is essential to maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations at New Mexico’s largest MRF.
