Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Tele - Nights position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 3 years of acute care experience and a CO or Compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care/med-surg adult unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes post-orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedure/surgery recovery, and patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Observation and telemetry monitoring required
- 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation
- Participation in the on-call rotation is required, with 1 call shift per 2-week period as needed for staffing
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications, both issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in med/surg, acute care, or telemetry
- Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
Additional Information
- Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
- ACLS is required to provide intermediate care coverage in the CCU as needed
- Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Facility-owned furnished studio and one-bedroom apartments are available for rent within walking distance of the hospital, subject to availability
