Blended Roles and Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU patients using the full nursing process

Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes

Monitor and manage critically ill patients including ventilated and hemodynamically unstable cases

Communicate effectively with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, labs, and diagnostics

Interpret and respond to hemodynamic monitoring and clinical indicators
-
Administer medications, titrate drips, and respond rapidly to patient deterioration

Provide patient and family education with empathy and clarity

Supervise and guide nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery

Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to safety standards

Requirements
Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of ICU / Critical Care experience

Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations

Experience with ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Education

ADN or BSN required
Certifications & Licensure

Active RN License (California or compact eligible if applicable)

BLS (AHA)
