Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Iowa-licensed Emergency Medicine Physicians for locum tenens coverage in Dyersville, Iowa. This role supports emergency care in a small critical access hospital environment with an Emergency Department and inpatient responsibilities.

Clinical Scope

• Provide emergency patient care in a 3-bed Emergency Department
• Manage inpatient responsibilities for 20 beds (observation, acute, and swing bed)
• Evaluate, stabilize, treat, and disposition patients across emergency and inpatient workflows
• Use TogetherCare (EPIC) for documentation and order entry
• Work with on-site support staff, including RNs and a CNA

Schedule Details

• 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM), with occasional 12-hour shifts

Practice Environment

• Critical Access Hospital with a 3-bed Emergency Department and 20 inpatient beds
• TogetherCare (EPIC) used for clinical documentation and order entry

Requirements

• Active Iowa medical license
• MD degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
