Family Practice physician locums coverage needed in California for an outpatient preventive care setting-weekday clinic hours, no call, and no weekends.

Highlights

• No call required
• Outpatient-only primary care (no procedures)

Practice Setting

• Outpatient clinic focused on preventive care and "bread and butter" primary care
• Patient population: all ages preferred
• Coverage support due to short staffing while permanent providers are away
• Collaborative environment with onsite clinical and administrative support

Schedule

• Monday-Friday clinic coverage
• Standard daytime hours with an unpaid lunch break
• Onsite assignment
• 3-month initial commitment with the option to extend

Cases and Procedures

• Primary care visits: routine and preventive care
• Average volume: 20 patients per day (based on scheduling patterns)
• No procedures

Requirements

• MD/DO
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• California license required (facility will not wait for licensure)
• At least 12 months of experience
• Credentialing timeframe typically 60-90 days, including 3 peer references
