Shift Type: Thursday-Saturday, 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM or 08:30 AM - 09:00 PM (12-hour day shifts); rotating schedule with potential graveyard coverage (current need Thurs-Sat, schedule may change)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging studies while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Operate and optimize Siemens and GE CT equipment for diagnostic procedures
• Conduct fluoroscopy exams within the scope of your California Fluoroscopy Permit
• Collaborate directly with radiologists and the care team to ensure accurate imaging and timely results
• Complete patient charting and documentation in Cerner with attention to detail
• Maintain equipment quality assurance and report any issues promptly
• Demonstrate BLS and radiation safety best practices on every shift
• Support unit needs during shift changes and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications

• California Radiologic Technologist License (required)
• California Fluoroscopy Permit (required)
• ARRT (R) certification (required)
• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant radiology/CT experience
• Preferred experience with Siemens and GE CT scanners
• Experience with Cerner charting system is a plus
• Submission requires 2 supervisory references (one within 12 months and one within 3 years)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of CT protocols and cross-sectional imaging
• Proficiency in patient positioning and radiation dose optimization
• Fluoroscopy techniques and safety practices
• Familiarity with PACS/DICOM workflows and image post-processing
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in an acute care setting
• Clear communication skills for interacting with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Basic troubleshooting for CT/fluoro equipment and workflow escalation
