Hotel Maintenance Technician--Tools Provided--One Location

Full-Time | Columbus, OH
Pay: $19-$22/hour depending on experience

Position Overview

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s building systems, guest rooms, and grounds to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on guest rooms and public areas

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

• Complete daily work orders and service requests

• Maintain hotel equipment including boilers, water heaters, and pumps

• Assist with painting, carpentry, drywall, and general repairs

• Maintain pool equipment and water testing (if applicable)

• Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards

• Support emergency repairs as needed

Qualifications

• 1–2 years maintenance experience (hotel, apartment, facilities, or construction)

• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and perform general repairs

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders

• EPA or HVAC certification preferred but not required
