Nuclear Medicine Tech – Full Time - Now Hiring

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced nuclear med tech for a permanent role with an area healthcare client where you’ll work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operate radiation detection and imaging equipment.

 Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine.
• BLS certification.
• Newly licensed nuclear medicine technologists are acceptable.
• Experience using Dose Calibrator, Geiger Counter, Captus well counter and uptake probe.
• Experience with Stress Lab equipment including EKG machines and treadmills.
• Competence with glucometer, blood pressure measurement and pulse oximetry.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic and therapeutic environment and rotate on-call duties.
• Comfort working directly with stress test nurses and multidisciplinary diagnostic teams.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care in diagnostic imaging.
• Availability for day shifts on weekdays. Shift lengths vary between 8- and 10-hour schedules. Typical start times include early morning options (examples: 6:00am–4:30pm for 10s; 6:30am–3:00pm, 7:00am–3:30pm, 7:30am–4:00pm for 8s).
