Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems
- Conduct road tests and inspections to identify mechanical issues
- Use diagnostic tools and maintenance software to log and complete repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations
- Mentor junior technicians and support team development
- Participate in ongoing technical training and certification programs
- Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle or diesel maintenance
- Experience with diagnostics and repair of major components (engine, drivetrain, etc.)
- Proficiency with mechanic tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair software
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for service documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical or vocational certification in automotive or diesel repair
- ASE Certification or OEM training
- EPA 608/609 certification
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
Work Environment & Requirements
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments
- Willingness to travel locally (customer sites, training locations)
- Must pass background check and drug screening

Compliance with DOT regulations, including:
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks
- DOT physical exam
- Safety performance history
- FMCSA Clearinghouse review (if applicable)
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift during shifts
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Safely operate in environments with moving heavy vehicles and equipment
- Work at heights using ladders or platforms when required
- Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and tool handling
