About the Position

TransForce is seeking experienced CDL A Flatbed Drivers to support local operations in Richmond, California. This dedicated opportunity offers consistent local routes, a weekday schedule, and no-touch freight.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $30 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 5:00 a.m.
• Typical shift length: 8 to 10 hours, with occasional longer days based on workload
• Hours per week: 40
• Employment type: Dedicated

Job Details

• Route type: Consistent local routes
• Freight: Construction materials
• Equipment: Pre-loaded flatbed
• Handling: No-touch freight
• Load securement: Strapping required; no tarping
• Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes.
• Transport construction materials in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
• Secure flatbed freight using straps.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
• Perform required job-related handling and securement tasks.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL A license.
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable flatbed driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
