Childcare Center Director

Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 annually
Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Full Time

The Learning Experience in Santa Clarita is seeking an experienced and driven Center Director to lead daily operations, inspire staff, and ensure excellence in early childhood education. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining compliance, supporting enrollment growth, developing teachers, and creating a positive culture for families and team members.

We are looking for a strong operational leader who can balance classroom quality, team development, and business performance.

• Oversee daily center operations and ensure compliance with California licensing regulations
• Lead, coach, and develop teaching staff to maintain high classroom quality
• Manage staff scheduling, ratios, and performance expectations
• Drive enrollment growth through tours and community engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with families and provide exceptional customer service
• Monitor financial performance including labor management and budgeting
• Ensure a safe, organized, and positive school environment

• Minimum twenty four completed ECE units required
• Site Supervisor Permit or higher preferred
• Experience in a licensed early childhood center required
• Must meet California state background check and health requirements

• Minimum three years of leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting
• Experience managing staff of 20 or more preferred
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills
• Confident decision maker with excellent communication skills
• Ability to build culture, accountability, and team engagement
