Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Tech– Staten Island, NY

Assignment Start: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 Hours/Week
Shift: 8 Hour Days
Primary Shift: 11:30 AM – 7:30 PM
Start Times: May vary between 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
On-Call: None

Setting: High-Volume Cardiac Catheterization Lab (3 Labs)

Position Summary:

Seeking an experienced Special Procedures Tech for a busy Cardiac Cath Lab performing cardiac catheterizations, structural heart, and peripheral procedures. This is an adult-only patient population. Candidate must be comfortable scrubbing and first assisting in complex interventional cases. EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and first assist during cardiac catheterization, structural heart, and peripheral procedures

• Prepare and maintain sterile field and procedural equipment

• Operate radiologic equipment in accordance with safety standards

• Monitor patient status and assist with intra-procedural care

• Accurately document procedures in EPIC

• Collaborate with physicians and Cath Lab team to ensure safe and efficient workflow

Required Qualifications:

• ARRT (R) certification

• NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license

• ACLS certification

• BLS certification

• Minimum 2+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience

• Experience scrubbing and first assisting

Preferred:

• Interventional Radiography experience
