• Contract Type: Contract

• Shift Type: Day (12.5 Hr Shift)

• Shift Timing: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM

• Hours per Week: 36 Hours

• Candidate Pay Rate: $60/hr (Blended)

 

Blended Roles and Responsibilities

• Circulate in a high-volume Operating Room across all surgical service lines

• Provide 1:1 patient care throughout perioperative procedures

• Prepare OR suites, instruments, and equipment prior to procedures

• Assist surgical teams during procedures including trauma cases

• Maintain sterile field and ensure strict adherence to surgical protocols

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs for optimal outcomes

• Monitor patient status and respond rapidly to intraoperative changes

• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Epic EMR

• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience

• REQUIRED: Level I or Level II Trauma experience

• Strong ability to circulate across multiple service lines

• Comfortable handling emergency and trauma surgical cases

Education

• ADN or BSN required

Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN License (Georgia or compact)

• BLS (AHA)

• CNOR preferred

Knowledge and Skills

• Advanced circulating skills across surgical specialties

• Trauma case management and rapid response

• Sterile technique and infection control

• Strong communication and teamwork in high-pressure settings

• Proficiency with Epic charting
