Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a Home Health & Hospice assignment in Dickinson, ND. This role involves providing personalized, patient-centered care across a variety of settings, including private homes and nursing facilities.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• On-Call: Evenings, weekends & holidays (24-hour call on weekends/holidays)
• Contract Type: Travel Assignment
• Service Area: Up to 60-mile radius around Dickinson

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Conduct ongoing evaluations and adjust care based on patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide education and support to patients and families
• Coordinate care and act as Case Manager when assigned
• Communicate patient status and updates with physicians
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Coordinate equipment, services, and discharge planning
• Supervise and guide Home Health Aides

Patient Population

• Home Health & Hospice patients
• Adults, geriatrics, and occasional pediatrics

Requirements

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Home Health & Hospice experience (Required)
• Valid Driver’s License & Auto Insurance
• Ability to work independently in a field-based setting

Clinical & System Details

• EMR: HomeCare HomeBase
• Mileage is included in the pay package (not reimbursed separately)

• Weekend Requirement: On-call rotation
• Holiday Requirement: Required
• Scrub Color: Any solid color
• Radius Rule: 50 miles (restrictions apply)
• Candidates must not have worked with affiliated facilities within the past year
• RTO must be submitted upfront (no additional requests accepted later)
