Material Handler General Laborer - Now Hiring

Legacy Building Solutions specializes in highly custom, large and specialty fabric structures. We're dedicated to providing the highest quality service along with the best fabric buildings in the industry.

We are growing and in need of material handlers to join our team.

• Loading/unloading of materials
• Steel processing
• Assists in the preparation of materials to be shipped to construction sites
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production area to storage or other designated areas
• Records number of materials or items received or distributed
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
• Forklift operation safely and responsibly
• Cleans work area, machines, tools and equipment, paint metal stock as well as miscellaneous jobs
• Operate power equipment, including power tools
• Perform other duties as necessary

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to cross train in other areas of the plant/business
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be willing to operate a forklift in safe and efficient with the ability to obtain a certification
• Positive attitude and desire to work as a team player
• Previous history of consistent attendance with the ability to be to work on time on daily basis

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  1. Stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and talk or hear.
  2. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
  3. The employee must regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.
  4. Follow safety procedures including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment
