Job Opportunity – MRI Technologist – North Carolina

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday | 10:00 AM – 10:30 PM | Weekend coverage every Sunday | No call required
Highlights:
- Work in a general community hospital performing a diverse case mix including musculoskeletal, neurological, and body imaging
- Utilize advanced GE equipment including 1.5T 450W and Artist scanners with PACS integration
- Chart in Epic system with SBAR communication protocols
- Perform general MRI exams and some anesthesia cases; no biopsies or MRI-guided procedures
- Comprehensive 36-hour orientation with blocked scheduling
- Maximum 7 days requested time off available; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
Requirements:
- Active ARRT MR and ARRT R certifications required
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- Proficiency in adult acute care, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
- Competency in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, musculoskeletal, and spine imaging protocols
- Experience with contrast administration and starting peripheral IVs
- Knowledge of special imaging procedures including MRA, MRV, MRCP, diffusion, and post-processing techniques
- NC or Compact state license (must be active at time of start)
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
