Requirements
- Deliver high-quality med/surg nursing care overnight to a diverse patient population
- Perform thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and float to other departments as needed
- Respond to emergencies and utilize ACLS/BLS skills when clinically indicated
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (Meditech familiarity helpful)
- Support smooth handoffs and communicate clearly to ensure continuity of care
- Active Washington RN license or multistate nursing license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIHSS certification
- Completed 6-hour suicide prevention training (required)
- Nursys demographic verification completed
- Med/Surg nursing experience and comfort working night shift
- Team-player attitude and willingness to float to other departments
- Availability to work every other weekend and pick up extra shifts as needed
