Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) travel position requiring a NC or Compact RN license and Level 1 trauma experience.
Details
- Work setting is a large academic medical center CVPICU
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required
- 13-week contract
- Orientations are held bi-weekly
- Local candidates within 75 miles are accepted at a lower pay rate
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required and must be in hand
- Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years highly preferred
- Level 1 trauma experience required for this ICU position
- One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Flu vaccine is required from October 31 through March 31 with no exemptions accepted
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and will receive a reduced pay rate
