Job Summary:
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist in Modesto, California. This position involves providing technical and patient support within the cardiac catheterization lab, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring equipment readiness. The role requires effective communication with medical staff and adherence to safety protocols to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days
- Duration: Minimum 13 weeks / Maximum 13 weeks
- Location: The healthcare provider's facility in Modesto, CA; onboarding is conducted at a nearby HR office located at 1400 Florida Ave Suite 202. Staff have parking available on site and are instructed not to use hospital parking.
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting between 7:00 am and 9:00 am, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist or relevant credential; two years of experience in a cath lab setting; ability to communicate effectively with physicians; willingness to work flexible start times.
- Additional Information: The patient ratio for procedural support is 3:1 for step-down and 4:1 for telemetry units. Responsibilities include operating all equipment safely, assessing procedure room readiness, and participating in performance and quality improvement activities. Call is required for this role.
