Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Laborer to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work and overtime opportunities. Start times may vary, including early mornings (as early as 6:00 AM).

Employees become eligible for benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k) after completing a 90-day probationary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment at all times
• Identify and report hazards or unsafe behavior to the Foreman or Crew Leader
• Assist with mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment across job sites
• Direct traffic and maintain safe work zones when required
• Operate hand tools and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, and saws
• Build, set, and dismantle concrete forms
• Clean and prepare job sites to eliminate hazards
• Load and unload construction materials and distribute as needed
• Assist skilled tradesmen including finishers, crew leaders, and supervisors
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and machinery
• Perform general labor tasks including digging, backfilling, leveling, and compacting

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience preferred
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10 certification and First Aid certification
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Valid US Drivers License

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat over 100°F
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and twist throughout the workday
• Ability to lift and carry at least 40 lbs
• Strong physical stamina, coordination, and manual dexterity
