About the Position

TransForce is seeking CDL-A (Direct Hire) Drivers to support Regional operations based in Sterling, VA. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $25-$30 per hour
• Schedule: Company operates 7 days per week; drivers will typically work a 5-day week, 1st Shift, regional & local routes

Job Details

• Route Type: Residential & commercial moving
• Freight / Load Type: Furniture, moving boxes, etc.
• Equipment: CDL-A tractor trailer, dry van, automatic transmission
• Handling: Heavy touch

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment on regional or local routes
• Transport items for residential & commercial moving jobs mainly east of the Mississippi River and sometimes as far as Texas in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
• Assist with loading/unloading; will have a crew of 1-5 helpers depending on the size of the job

Minimum Requirements

• License: CDL-A
• Experience: 3+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record: No major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
