Position Summary/ Department Summary:
The Program Coordinator I, will be working in the Loddenkemper Lab where our mission is to detect, predict, and prevent every seizure and status epilepticus in children before it occurs. Under direct supervision, coordinates all activities and functions of a program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

1 year of relevant experience is required.
The Program Coordinator I, will be working in the Loddenkemper Lab where our mission is to detect, predict, and prevent every seizure and status epilepticus in children before it occurs. Under direct supervision, coordinates all activities and functions of a program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates activities and daily operations of a program.
- May prepare or assist in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors.
- Confers with staff and others to provide technical advice, provide problem solving assistance and answer questions about the program and its goals. Refers inquiries to others as needed.
- May prepare or assists in the preparation of periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies.
- May review applications or other program documents in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program.
- May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts.
- Drafts written communication and promotional literature.
- May assist in planning workshops, meetings or conferences; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications.
- Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
Education:
Associate's or equivalent experience is required.
Experience:
1 year of relevant experience is required.
The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.
