Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Medical Cardiac Step-Down (PCU) position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.
Details
- Medical Cardiac Step-Down (PCU) unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required for PCU/Tele RNs
- Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in cardiac step-down or telemetry nursing required
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- One professional reference required (two required for candidates licensed in Florida or Missouri)
