Seasonal Bartender

Be a part of our summer family at the historic Carolina Beach Pier! In the summer, we are a high volume bar & grill. We are hiring immediately for full time OR part time seasonal work with possibility for extension. Must be available on Labor Day weekend.

Carolina Beach Pier is a cherished landmark and a must-visit destination for people of all ages seeking a unique beach experience. Multiple bars throughout the property, with a Tiki bar on the Pier, the High Tide Lounge on the third floor & on special events a satellite bar down in the sand.

We are seeking Bartenders with the following qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of two years direct high volume bartending experience.
• Must have High Volume experience working with specialty cocktails, liquors and fresh squeezed beverages
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods (min. 6 hrs at a time), and capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 45 lbs as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 45lbs
• ABC License/RASP Training required, can obtain prior to training completion
• Ability to work with grace under pressure
• Must be flexible and adaptable to change

Overall Job Description: Our bartenders are friendly and energetic who can positively interact with our local clientele & make new visitors feel welcomed while balancing multiple orders and keep the drinks & food flowing. This crew delivers great cocktails, beer, wine, drinks and food to our Guests by being efficient, confident, polite, personable, and an expert on all things consumable. They are able to handle serving food and following our cocktail recipes. Our bartenders build relationships with guests, keeping them happy, comfortable, and informed throughout their time with us. This team maintains a friendly atmosphere in the restaurant. A true team player, who takes pride in their work, gives beyond expectation service will thrive with us.

Business Seasonal Hours: Monday-Friday 11am-10pm | Saturday 8am to 10pm & Sunday 9am-10pm

Pay: $2.13/hr plus tips
