This position plays a critical role in maintaining the safety, security, and integrity of cargo vessels, port personnel, and restricted areas in accordance with maritime security regulations.br /br //divdivThe ideal candidate must be professional, vigilant, and able to work in a dynamic port environment where schedules are determined by vessel arrival and departure times.br /br //divdivstrongVessel Security Duties:/strong/divulliMonitor and control access at vessel gangways and designated security gates./liliPrevent unauthorized personnel from boarding or entering restricted areas./liliVerify credentials and maintain strict access control procedures./liliRemain vigilant and alert at all times while on post./liliConduct security inspections as required./liliReport any discrepancies, suspicious activity, or security violations immediately via two-way radio./liliMaintain clear and professional communication with supervisors and port personnel./liliWork various security posts as assigned depending on vessel operations./liliComplete accurate and detailed activity and incident reports.br /br //li/uldivstrongSchedule Requirements:/strong/divulliMinimum of 32 hours per week (unless shifts are declined)./liliNo fixed schedule – hours are based on vessel operations./liliMust have open availability Monday through Sunday./liliShifts may range from 4 to 12 hours./liliFlexibility is required, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.br /br //li/uldivstrongQualifications amp; Requirements:/strong/divulliStrong attention to detail and situational awareness./liliAbility to stand for extended periods./liliAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditions./liliExcellent communication skills./liliProfessional appearance and demeanor./liliMust be reliable and punctual./liliAbility to follow maritime security protocols and post orders.br /br //li/ul
