Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. br /strongbr /Essential Functions and Responsibilities include:/strong/divulliAccompany doctor into patient examination room to accurately and efficiently document the encounter./liliExhibit excellence in medical terminology and billing amp; coding knowledge in all documentation./liliDocument any procedures performed by doctor./liliSuccessfully navigate the location-specific Electronic Medical Record (or EMR) system to input documentation./liliInform doctor when diagnostic studies are completed, prepare for review, and document in EMR./liliMulti-task efficiently and effectively as required./liliPerforms all functions of a Medical Assistant./liliPerforms routine patient care responsibilities such as taking vital signs, drawing blood./liliConducts patient outreach phone calls, post procedure follow up./liliWork under pressure, within time constraints./li/uldivbr /strongQualifications:/strong/divulliMust be able to act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation./liliExhibit excellent listening skills./liliUnderstand and observe legal concepts (e.g. HIPAA, confidentiality)./liliOther duties as assigned by supervisor./liliQuick learner./liliAble to Learn on the fly./liliAble to Adapt quickly in a patient care environment./li/ul
