h4Job description/h4 div class="jobs-JobDescription" pstrongSummary Description/strongbrThe Dispatcher reports to the Transportation Manager and provides support in the timely completion of various routine departmental clerical assignments and other duties as assigned by the Transportation Manager or Transportation Coordinator./p pstrongKey Tasks and Responsibilities/strongbrCoordination of Participant SchedulesbrUpdates and communicates changes in driver daily schedulesbrEnter timekeeping data and review timecards dailybrEnter all data from D/A'sbrEngage with Partners in Customer Service/ Customer Care SupportbrAssist with client calls and disseminate accordinglybrRespond to all designated transport requests utilizing company resources.brEnsure all incoming phone calls are answered in a timely mannerbrComplete assigned clerical and administrative tasks as required.brAssess the next day's resources and forecast potential problems. Re-arrange the schedule and drivers as needed to ensure proper coveragebrReport all issues promptly with possible solutions to ManagementbrSchedule Transportation routes as approved by Transportation CoordinatorbrOperations Lunch Relief / BackupbrOther Assigned Reports/p pstrongEducation amp; Training/strongbrHigh School graduate.brCollege degree preferred.brCommercial driver license with passenger endorsement.brKnowledge and ExperiencebrExperience in Senior Care or related human services industry.br1 year experience with the elderly requiredbrExtensive knowledge of PACE location and surrounding areas streets, neighborhoods and traffic patterns.brVehicle scheduling, dispatching and office experience desired./p pstrongCore Competencies/strongbrClear and concise oral and written communication skillsbrPlanning and organizational abilitybrAbility to problem analysis, problem solving amp; adaptabilitybrAttention to detail and ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.brMust possess superior customer service skills and the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with Management, co-workers, clients and vendors./p pstrongWorking Conditions/strong/p ulliWorking hours: Monday Friday 6:00am 17:00pm, varying shifts/li liOvertime and some weekend work as needed/li liRequired to drive vehicles as needed/li /ulpPhysical RequirementsbrMay require sitting or standing for up to 4 hoursbrPosition requires working in a seated position while operating computer, keyboard, mouse, phones and printers and filing of documentsbrAbility to use proper body mechanics/p pThis position requires working overnight hours, often with minimal direct supervision.
