The behavior technician will follow individualized treatment plans, behavior plans, and other clinical instructions to deliver quality therapeutic services to each child and the family.br /  /divdivstrongRequirements:/strong/divulliPossess a minimum of a high school diploma or GED/liliAt least 1 year of experience providing ASD treatment to children/liliMust be able to obtain and maintain a CPR certification/First Aid certification and re-certification every 2 years./liliSuccessful completion and maintenance of Safety Care Training./liliEffective oral and written communication skills./liliReliable means of transportation, if using own vehicle, must have valid state driver’s license and current automobile insurance./li/uldivbr //divdivstrongPhysical Demands:/strong/divulliMust have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, computer typing, standing, fetching documents from file cabinets)./liliMust have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities./liliNeed to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 50 lbs.)./li/uldivbr //divdivstrongMental Demands:/strong/divulliAbility to respond effectively to varied demands of the child, family, supervisor, and other team members./liliAbility to multi-task and take descriptive and accurate documentation./liliAbility to use strategy and make quick intelligent decisions./liliAbility to respond effectively in emergency situations with the student that may occur at home, at school, or out in the community, Ability to problem solve as well as respond in a proactive and professional manner./li/uldivbr //divdivstrongDisclaimer:/strong/divdivThe above statements reflect the general functions of this job and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all work requirements inherent in this job.
